Where Are the Women in Art? Sweatshirt

$65.00

Female artists and leaders in the fine arts are wildly underrepresented in comparison to their male counterparts. Without women in the arts, the conversation around art and art history is incomplete. There are over a million female artists in the world and this shirt only represents 8 of them. Featured on this sweatshirt are artists Alice Neel, Gwendolyn Knight, Frida Kahlo, Lee Krasner, Georgia O’Keeffe, Helen Frankenthaler, Elaine Sturtevant and Alma Thomas. If you don’t already know them, take some time to learn their stories and help make theirs (and others) a household name.

Sweatshirt featuring portraits of artists on the front and a few jarring facts about women in the arts on the back.
